1. Touch method
When you touch the surface of plastic packaging bags, generally PVC plastic bags are sticky and astringent, while PE plastic bags are milky white, translucent and smooth to the touch.
2. Jitter method
You can shake the packaging bag with your hands. If it can make a crisp sound, it is usually a PE plastic bag; if the sound is small and dull, it is a PVC plastic bag.
3. Combustion method
If conditions permit, the method of burning can also be used to identify PE and PVC materials. Generally speaking, the flame is blue, the upper end is yellow, and the paraffin odor when burning is the PE plastic packaging bag; it is difficult to burn, the flame is yellow, the upper end is green, and the pungent hydrochloric acid odor is the PVC plastic packaging bag.
4. Immersion method
First immerse the plastic packaging bag in water, press it into the water by hand, the PE plastic that can surface, and the PVC plastic that sinks to the bottom (the density of the PE plastic packaging bag is lower than that of water, and the density of the PVC plastic packaging bag is higher than that of water; normal temperature are about 0.92g/cm3 and 1.4g/cm3 respectively).
